KONJ was born from a simple yet meaningful idea — to introduce Armenia to the warmth, rich flavors, and hospitality of Persian culture, not only through food, but through a truly distinctive atmosphere. The name KONJ means “a corner” in Persian. And that is exactly what we wanted to create — a small and welcoming corner of Persia in the heart of Yerevan, where guests can step away from the rhythm of the city, gather around one table, enjoy authentic Persian cuisine, and experience the genuine warmth of Eastern hospitality. Today, KONJ brings together two distinct spaces united by one idea and philosophy — KONJ Café and KONJ Restaurant. KONJ Café offers a cozy and relaxed setting for breakfast, coffee, desserts, friendly gatherings, and enjoyable moments throughout the day. KONJ Restaurant invites guests to discover Persian cuisine and culture on a deeper level. Traditional dishes, authentic flavors, an Eastern-inspired atmosphere, music, and warm hospitality come together to transform an ordinary restaurant visit into a little journey to Persia. KONJ grew from our love for Persian cuisine and our desire to share not only food, but also culture, traditions, and emotions. In Persian culture, the table has always been a symbol of hospitality, warmth, and togetherness. It is a place where people slow down, gather around a shared meal, enjoy long conversations, exchange stories, and cherish time with those closest to them. We wanted to bring this beautiful tradition to Yerevan while celebrating the centuries-old connection between Armenian and Persian cultures — two ancient cultures united by strong family values, rich traditions, and a deep respect for hospitality. This is the idea that gave life to KONJ. Our goal goes beyond simply serving Persian food.
